Matthew Bersagel

Pastor Matthew Bersagel, as Sr. Pastor, is the head of staff and lead preacher for Crown of Glory.   Matt has a Dr. of Ministry degree in Parish Revitalization from McCormick Seminary in Chicago and a Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary in Saint Paul and has served rural, urban and suburban congregations in Iowa, Colorado and Minnesota.   Matt enjoys playing competitive racquetball, blues music on the guitar and jaunts into the boundary waters in his canoe.

Pastor Matt has a passion for cultivating vision, for deepening healthy relationship and for helping Crown of Glory engage the surrounding community in ways that bears witness to the redeeming love and work of Jesus Christ.   Matt welcomes the opportunity to hear the stories, dreams and struggles any person willing to engage in conversation and welcomes conversation about the ministry and future of Crown of Glory and the needs and cries of the broader community.   Email pastormatt@crownofglory.org
