Human Resources TeamThe Human Resource Team meets the first Wednesday evening of each month and when staff interviews or staff evaluations are conducted. The Human Resources Team is responsible for participating in performance reviews for the staff, reviewing résumés submitted by persons seeking employment at the Church, assisting with the interviewing of prospective employees for staff positions, setting salary guidelines for the positions and recommending to the Church Council an overall amount to be committed to staff salaries and benefits. The HR Team does not, however, review résumés or interview candidates for positions that are filled via a Call Committee process. Generally, a representative from the HR Team is also a member of the Call Committee. The HR Team also reviews the employee handbook on a regular basis to ensure that it is up-to-date and meets current employment standards. This group also assists the Senior Pastor by answering any questions about employment issues and answering staff questions about employment benefits.
