Stewardship Team

The Stewardship Team's mission for 2011 and 2012 is to help people explore their reasons for giving and to invite participation in Thanksgiving to God.   
A significant effort is put into the annual stewardship emphasis in the fall of each year.    Giving at Crown of Glory is a response to the blessing that God has already supplied in the lives of God's children.

People Give in order to  

• Make something significant happen in the community
• Give thanks for some ongoing or unexpected blessing
• Leave a legacy in life that stretches beyond your own life span
• Show support for the community and appreciation for the service offered to others
• Reflect the character of God.  We need to give as much as we give to need.  As the image of God, it's in our wiring.
• Give thanks for the life of a family member or person of faith who blessed your life
• Carry on the blessing of past generations that provided the gifts that we carry on, in our congregation and in our individual lives
• Feel the abundance that we have.  When I give I feel wealthy because I have announced to the world that I am satisfied with what God has placed in my care!
