Communion Assistants

“Do this in remembrance of me.”

Worshippers who attend Crown of Glory come to experience God’s presence in many ways; through music, through liturgy, through sermons, through scripture, and through the sacrament of Holy Communion.  The body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ is a reminder of Christ’s unfailing love and faithfulness which were shown to us through His death and resurrection.

-Understand the impact these elements have on our lives and the life of the congregation

Usher Ministry Team

“I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. And I lay down my life for the sheep.

Crown of Glory recognizes the impact that an Usher Ministry Team has on worshippers. It is then important that the members of the Usher Ministry Team, as shepherds of the people, understand the need to exhibit quality ministry, grounded in faith and service to the Lord.

A successful Usher Ministry Team exemplifies the following characteristics:

A desire and calling to serve

Extend a warm welcome to each and every person entering the sanctuary for worship

An understanding of worship service and flow

An understanding of worship space and facility at large

Professionalism in service as well as appearance

A commitment to the cause

Greeter Ministry Team

Welcome one another, therefore, as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

As a member of the Greeter Ministry Team, you have a responsibility to create a warm and caring environment to worshippers. It is important to understand that each and every person who walks through the door could be walking the door of a church for the first time, not ever experiencing Christ’s love and invitation. The first contact with these and all people needs to be one of caring and a commitment to making them feel comfortable.

A successful Greeter Ministry Team exemplifies the following characteristics:

A desire and calling to serve

Extend a warm welcome to each and every person entering the building

An understanding of the facility of Crown of Glory

Professionalism in service as well as appearance

A commitment to the cause

An ability as a whole to inspire others to serve

Kitchen Ministry Team
