Crown of Glory is an ever growing congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and has served its community of faith for more than 30 years. We strive to spread the Good News of God to all those in the greater Chaska community. Members are encouraged to be active in the church by sharing their time and their talents on one of our vision driven ministry teams.

Our building is located along Highway 41 overlooking the scenic Minnesota River Valley and downtown Chaska, MN. This frontier river town was founded over 150 years ago providing it with a rich history. Today it is a fast growing outer ring community of the Minneapolis / St. Paul metropolitan area. Chaska still maintains its small town feel and aspires to be the "Best Small Town in Minnesota".

New Parenting Small Group at Crown of Glory:
Parents of College and College Bound Youth (PCCBY)
Do you have children who are juniors or seniors in High School?  Perhaps your children are just out of High School and beginning on the next phase of their lives, either in a 4 year college, 2 year community college, and technical college or starting out in the work force.  This small group is geared toward you!
Our goal is to share knowledge and support each other through this time in our children’s’ lives.   We also desire to help our children transition into this new phase of their lives with the tools they need to be successful.

  • Are you overwhelmed with the idea of college visits, admissions, financial aid forms etc.?
  • Do you need a forum to share your fears and hopes?
  • Do you want to pray for these children (and their parents) as they embark on this new phase of their lives?
  • Have you been through this process and have the desire to share your experiences with others?

UPDATE: Parents of College and College Bound Youth (PCCBY)

We had a wonderfully successful meeting on January 9th.  Thanks to all the parents that attended to ask questions and share information.

For our next meeting we will be gathering on Sunday April 10th at 12Noon to assemble care packages for our College Youth.  We hope to get these packages in the hands of the youth before Finals.

Do you have a college student?  If so, please submit your college students name, college and mailing address to the church office by April 3rd.  The care packages will contain snack and candy items and a personalized note from the packager. 

If you would like to join us for this event please feel free to drop in on Sunday, April 10th.  We will be inviting our college bound youth to participate.  All others are also welcome.

We are excited to reach out to these youth and help them feel connected with the congregation at Crown of Glory.
