Connect Ministry: 4th & 5th GRADE
September - May
We are excited to welcome our 4th and 5th grade students to this year’s 2021 - 2022 Connect Ministry! This year will look a little different than last year, that’s for sure! We anticipate being in person each Wednesday evening at Crown of Glory for our Connect Ministry experience. This year’s curriculum themes include “The Life and Ministry of Jesus” and “The Apostles and the Church”. Each Wednesday during the program year students will meet in the church sanctuary for a large group gathering from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm and break into small groups from 6:30 pm until 7:00 pm. This program year we also welcome Tracie Peterson, as the new Connect Volunteer Coordinator. Throughout her career as a Christian educator, Tracie has served on staff at other congregations in Children’s, Youth and Family ministry. She and her family are longtime members of Crown of Glory and we now welcome her to this new role! Please be sure to check out Tracie’s welcome and introduction below!
Hello - my name is Tracie Peterson and I am the new Volunteer Connect Coordinator at Crown of Glory. I have many years of Children, Youth and Family ministry experience at various congregations around Minnesota, North Dakota and Seattle, WA. I have had the opportunity to partner with CoG for many years thru VBS and 2 different National Gatherings but this is my first chance to focus directly with you. My husband, Roger and I have 3 very busy daughters, who keep us running. I am excited to be able to give back to the congregation for nurturing the faith of my older girls while I worked. Please introduce yourself to me (several times - remember names is not always my gift). I can't wait to serve with you.
