SPARK (Sunday School)

Scripture, Prayer and Relationships for Kids.
Sparking FAITH in Kids.

September - May

SPARK will be entirely virtual for the foreseeable future.  SPARK bags will be available each month  with activities and crafts that will correspond to each of that month’s Sunday lessons. It will be a way for the kids to interact with the lessons more than just digitally, and it is an opportunity for the entire family to get in on the fun. The bags will be used only once, and supplies will be properly sanitized. As we move into the Fall, I will encourage you all to keep a container in your home with your supplies that will be used multiple times, like glue sticks, kid scissors, etc. The week prior to the first Sunday of each month will be when SPARK bags can be picked up.

Sunday School is a key part of our mission at Crown of Glory.  We believe it is important for our children to learn about God and His Word. Our Sunday School program is based on the SPARK Lectionary model.

Connect:  4th & 5th GRADE

Connect is our ministry with 4th and 5th grade students offered virtually on Wednesday evenings. The program is a two-year rotation of Bible lessons created to help preteens or “tweens” connect the individual lessons they have heard in Sunday School into larger concepts found in the Bible. Connect is offered from 6:00– 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday throughout the program year.  Each class will be 45 minutes in length and include a large group session (25 min), from 6:00–6:25 p.m., as well as smaller virtual classrooms grouped by grade starting at 6:25–6:45 p.m.  All registered students will receive a Zoom link via email to join in.
